The Hunt for a Killer
It is one of the biggest criminal investigations in Swedish history: the brutal murder of 10-year-old Helén Nilsson, a case that caused national trauma. Detectives Pelle Åkesson and Monica Olhed hunt for Helén’s killer, scouring the small town of Hörby where the girl disappeared in March of 1989. Through mounting public pressure and police politics, Åkesson and Olhed refuse to give up on the seemingly impossible case. And, after 15 years, their determination finally pays off.
